REDOX :

2NaH → 2Na + H2

2H2O → 2H2 + O2

Na2CO3 → Na2O + CO2

SINGLE DISPLACEMENT:

Zn(s) + 2 HCl(aq) → ZnCl2(aq) + H2(g)

2 Fe2O3 (s) + 3 C (s) → Fe(s) + CO2 (g)

DOUBLE DISPLACEMENT:

AgNO3 + NaCl → AgCl + NaNO3

BaCl2(aq) + Na2SO4(aq) → BaSO4(s) + 2 NaCl(aq)

☯ Redox :

  • Na + Cl → Back
  • H2 + O2 → H2O

☯Examples of Single Displacement :

  • Zn + Cucl2 → ZnCl2 + Cu
  • Br2 + 2KI → 2KBr + I2

☯ Examples of Double Displacement :

  • Bacl2 + MgSO4 → BaSO4 + MgCl2
  • KNO3 + AlCl3 → Al(NO3)2 + KCl
