Solution :-

( \frac{1}{6}  -  \frac{1}{8} ) + ( \frac{1}{2}  -  \frac{1}{3})

( \frac{4}{24}  -  \frac{3}{24} ) + ( \frac{3}{6}  -  \frac{2}{6} )

( \frac{1}{24} ) + ( \frac{1}{6} )

 = ( \frac{1}{24}  +  \frac{1}{6} )

 = ( \frac{1}{24}  +  \frac{4}{24} )

 =  \frac{5}{24}

5/24 is your solution .
