2x + 3y = 20.. Eq1.
3x + 6y = 99..Eq2.
Multiply eq 1 by 2
=) 2(2x+3y) = 2(20)
=) 4x + 6y = 40..Eq3.
Subtract eq2 byeq3
=) 4x-3x = 40-99
=) x = - 59
Put value of x in eq1.
=) 2(-59) + 3y = 20
=) - 118 + 3y = 20
=) 3y = 20+118
=) Y = 138/3
