Hello!!
The area of a Trapezium is 850 square centimetre one of the parallel sides is 64 cm and the perpendicular distance between the parallel side is 17 cm find the length of other parallel sides.

Answer:

Let the other parallel side be x

Area of trapezium = 1/2 x (sum of parallel sides) x height

850 = 1/2 x (64 + x) x 17

64 + x = 850x2/17

64 + x = 100

x = 36 cm

Other parallel side = 36 cm
