hello!!!
*The capacities oof two bottles are in the ratio 3:4. The
smaller bottle was filled twice and the larger bottle was
filled and emptied into a vessel. Twice the smaller and
half the larger was emptied in to another. What is the
ratio of the quantities of water in the two vessels?

Let the capacities be 3x and 4x...

Quantity of water in 1st vessel

= 2*3x + 4x

= 10x....


Quantity of water in 2nd vessel

= 2*3x + 1/2 * 4x

= 8x.....



Ratio = 10x/8x

= 5:4.........
