HEY MATE UR ANSWER___________________
To make text bold, select and highlight the text first. Then hold down Ctrl (the control key) on the keyboard and press B on the keyboard. To make text italic, select and highlight the text first. Then hold down Ctrl (the control key) on thekeyboard and then press the I on thekeyboard.
METHOD: 2
The Bold, Italics and Underline are not a feature of the keyboard, rather they are the features of the app and the specific input form where you are entering the data.
Every app has to come up with their own way of adding these effects.
For eg., if an app has support for HTML, then you can use YOUR TEXT for bold, etc.
Whatsapp accomplishes the same but with a different form of input. It prompts for these effects when you highlight the words (as mentioned in another answer). Or you can use *YOUR TEXT* to get bold, _YOUR TEXT_ for italics etc.
Hope this helps.
