1)Evaporation is when a liquid turns into a gas.
2) Evaporation may occur when the partial pressure of vapor of a substance is less than the equilibrium vapour pressure. 
3)Evaporation usually occurs on the surface.

Boiling - The process in which water changes into vapour . The boiling point at which water boils is 100 degree . It is also known as vapourisation.
Evaporation - The process in which water convert in to vapour is known as Evarporation . Evaporation can take place at any temperature .Evaporation is lone of the process in water cycle
