(a). \:  \:   \frac{4x - 1}{2}  = x + 7 \\  =  > 4x - 1 = 2(x + 7) \\  =  > 4x - 1 = 2x + 14 \\  =  > 4x - 2x = 14 + 1 \\  =  > 2x = 15\\  =  > x =  \frac{15}{2}  \\  \\ (b). \:  \:  \: 3x + 2 =  \frac{2x + 13}{3}  \\  =  > 3(3x + 2) = 2x + 13 \\  =  > 9x + 6 = 2x + 13 \\  =  > 9x - 2x = 13 - 6 \\  =  > 7x = 7 \\  =  > x =  \frac{7}{7}  \\  =  > x = 1
