Ocean water is salty because it contains a variety of salts like sodium chloride, sodium nitrate etc!

Hope it helps!

AaladinMadafqaka: feel
MissGulabo: This is because when we immerse ourselves in any fluid then the volume of water equal to our volume gets displaced (the water level rises). This displaced water exerts a bouyant force on our body in the upward direction , opposite to the gravitational pull of the Earth . Hence we feel lighter .

Answer:

Salt in the ocean comes from two sources: runoff from the land and openings in the seafloor. Rocks on land are the major source of salts dissolved in seawater. Rainwater that falls on land is slightly acidic, so it erodes rocks. ... Ocean water seeps into cracks in the seafloor and is heated by magma from the Earth's core
