Solution-

Definition of Additive Inverse-

The number in the set of real numbers that when added to a given number will yield zero, is called the Additive Inverse of that given number.

Example-

The additive inverse of 2 is −2

Additive inverse of -174 is,

-174+174=0

Therefore, Additive inverse of -174 is 174

Additive inverse of 52 is,

52+(-52)=52-52=0

Therefore, Additive inverse of 52 is -52
