Yes , it's true that you can lose your points at brainly .But it only happens under the circumstances when you violate rules .
Let's see in which conditions :-

Yes ,we lose our points when we asks question .on the right side there will be one block written 10. If you change it into 50 and someone answers your question,he/she will get50 points and you will lose 50 points
