Energy = (h * C ) / waveLength

h = Plank's constant

C = Velocity of light

To compare energy of two radiation,

 \frac{e1}{e2}  =  \frac{x2}{x1}

x2 = 400 pm = 400* 10^-12 = 4*10^-10
x1 = 800 pm = 8 * 10^-10

so, e1/ e2 = 4/8. =1/2

1/2 is your answer

Hope it helps ya out ^_^
