we have to find the value of (x-1/x) so we have to apply (a-b) ² then we will get (x-1/x)²= (x²+1/x²)-2 and in the question we know the value of (x²+1/x²) i.e 66 so substitute in the obtained solution then we will get 66-2 ie 64 as answer for (x-1/x)² then (x-1/x)=√64 the value will become + or - 8 hope u got it
