Examination is the best means of testing merit. The person who is able passes the test. A person who is unfit cannot pass the test. We cannot deny the importance of experience. But education is more effective in many places. If an illiterate person is good in oral mathematics and is asked to take up the work of the bank, then he will be disqualified there. First his educational qualification will be seen. In such a situation, his experience will be wasted because when it comes to compiling the data, he will not be able to do anything. That is why provision for examination was kept. Through this, the educational qualification of man is properly evaluated. It is necessary to get the examination done in any field. In this way the right person is selected and the task is handed over to the right hands. This is the importance of examination.

Exams....A word which afraids millions of students. Exams aren't that fearful but what actually fearful is, the expectations that our teachers and parents have. Exams are just a simple process via which its tested that whether a student likes studies or hate studies. Believe me, exams are nothing else than just allowing a student to know about what are their strengths and weaknesses. For better explanation let me give you a picture. A student scores pretty good marks in every exam but is not at all good in other activities. On the other hand, a student gets low marks in every exam but is amazing in sports and other co-curriculum activities. Now from this instance a student comes to know whether he/she has to take up fields dealing with bookish world or he/she should take up and go ahead in fields related to arts and sports dealing more with physical activities. Exams really seems interesting unless and until a student is tortured mentally to deal with particular thing which he/she is not at all willing to be deal with. At that moment the concept of exams lacks it base. Just because people think that merits and degrees are much more important than anything else, students are pressurised. They are influenced by the thoughts of people who give importance more to marks rather than knowledge. Agree, that exams are meant to test the knowledge, but dear world mates remember "Knowledge isn't tested by marks"

Exams gives students a motive and reason to study. Exams open way for many students for their career. Won't be wrong if I say "education nowadays is completely based on the pillar of examination" Coaching centers earn millions just because of the word "exam"

They prepare students for special exams, if no exams, there would be no coaching business. Well exams too have a dark side. Sometimes marks scored in exams are given importance more than a students life, which is fairly wrong. Exam results steals thousands of life every year in our nation.

School exams should not be treated as exams of life, and results should not decide the path and character of a student.
