METHOD I

Since the diagonals of a //gm separates it into 2 congruent triangles.

The corresponding sides of congruent triangles will be equal.

PQ = SR

PS = QR

QS = QS

Hence, PS = QR is the correct answer.

METHOD II

the opposite sides of a //gm are equal

So in the //gm PQRS :-

PQ = SR

PS = QR

(Note : this method has got nothing to do with the theorem stated in the question. Its based on the properties of a //gm)
