We know that,

\dagger \quad \tan 45^{\circ} = 1

\dagger \quad \cos 30^{\circ} = \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}= \sin 60^{\circ}

_________________________

2\tan^2 45^{\circ} + \cos^2 30^{\circ} - \sin^2 60\degree

Substituting the values, we get

\rm\dashrightarrow 2\times (1)^2+\Bigg ( \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2} \Bigg )^2 - \Bigg (\dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\Bigg )^2

\rm\dashrightarrow 2\times 1+0

\bf \dashrightarrow 2

Hence, 2 is the answer.
