Hey there !

Solution:

Chemical Change is a change that occurs in substances when two substances react with each other to form a new substance which is not similar to it's older substance. While Physical Change is a change that is caused ins substances which will just cause a change of state or it can change the appearance, but the identity of substance remains the same.

According to this question, Option B refers to match with the explanation given above.

Hence Option ( b ) is the right answer.

Second question: Non metals are mostly found on the right side of the periodic table. This is because in the middle and left side of the table, only transition and reactive elements are present. In the right side, non metals are present along with noble gas.
Hence answer is option ( d )

Hope my answer helped !

[0010001111]... Hello User... [1001010101]
Here's your answer...

A chemical change is one which changes the chemical composition of a substance, changing it into a new substance with different chemical properties.
A physical change merely changes the physical state of the substance. The chemical composition and properties remain same.
So the 2nd option is correct in Q1.

As one goes from left to right in the periodic table, non-metallic character increases. Also, as one goes down the group in the periodic table, non-metallic character decreases.
By these two factors, non-metals occur in the upper right corner of the table.
So the 4th option is correct in Q2.
