HERE IS THE ANSWER OF YOUR QUESTION :-

5(w - 1) - 2 = 5w + 7

5w - 5 - 2 = 5w + 7

5w - 7 = 5w + 7

5w - 5w = 7 + 7

0w = 14

w = 14/0

It cannot be divided.

So, answer is INFINITELY MANY SOLUTIONS.

Hope it helps you.

mathdude200: this is wrong
mathdude200: 14/0 is not defined
mathdude200: this step is wrong
mathdude200: plz check
jacobcunningham202: i did when he answered it he was right
mathdude200: but this is not possible 14/0 = 0
mathdude200: now u got the solution
jacobcunningham202: 14/0 = 0
mathdude200: it is not defined
mathdude200: 14/0 never equals to 0

this equation have infinitely many solutions not 0 solutions as it is satisfied for every value of w

mathdude200: but i know my answer is correct
mathdude200: such equations are called identities
mathdude200: if u recall about trigonometry identities
mathdude200: satisfy for all real values
mathdude200: nothing for sorry please
