HEYA MATE, HERE IS UR ANSWER


The correct name for BaCl2 is Barium Chloride .

We are not using dichloride bcz Barium Chloride doesn't have any other form .It will always form BaCl2 unlike CO and CO2.we use di and mono ,tri when two same elements react in different ways to form different products.

here's ur answer.....

BaCl2 is barium chloride as barium chloride have no other forms as it only reacts in one way . So therefore it doesn't have any other form like dichloride ....
