I find moral of the poem interesting in Poem 'Geography lesson'.

• Zulfikar Ghose describes how the earth appears from different heights whether one is in an aeroplane or a jet in his poem "Geography Lesson."
• He explains to the readers that once the plane is in the air, what appears to be an unforeseen event makes sense.
• After reaching a certain altitude, it became obvious why the city was built in the manner that it was.
• He understood the reasoning behind geography, supported the facts that the globe is round and has more water than land, but he was unable to comprehend why humanity continued to find excuses to be violent against one another, kill one another, and draw borders between nations.
• When the aircraft lifts off and is at a height of around six inches to a mile, the poet Zulfikar Ghose tells the audience in the opening line of his poem "Geography Lesson," everything will make sense. It becomes obvious why the city was built in the manner that it was. He talks about how it was impossible to miss how haphazard and unattractive the city appeared before the jet took off.
• He relates how everything made sense as to why the nation had cities built along the rivers as the jet reached a height of around ten thousand feet. Even the poet realised why people lived in the lowlands.
