Nice question

See as we can see in the second box

We have P and 231 as the number

Order of P in English alphabets = 16

P is the 16th letter in English alphabet.

Now what is the square of 16?

16² = 256

Now let's move to the centre
In centre we have 5

Square of 5?
That is 25!

now,

16² - 5²

=> 256 - 25 = 231 ✓

Which is the number required to fill in that box.

Let's move to the third box

We have G and 24

Again G's order in English alphabet = 7

G is the 7th letter of English alphabet.

7² = 49

Centre number = 5

5² = 25

7² - 5²

=> 49 - 25

= 24

So if we follow the pattern we can find out the number required to fill in the first box.

So in first box we have M

M is the 13th letter

13² = 169

Again,

13² - 5²

=> 169 - 25

=> 144

So the correct option is option 3

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️
