let the sides be 2a and 3a,

then

area of trapezium=1/2 × (sum of parallel sides)×distance between the parallel lines,

therefore

125=1/2 ×(2a+3a)×10,

125=5a×5,

then

125=25a,

a=5,

hence

1st side=2×5=10 cm,

2nd side=3×5=15 cm,

let numerator of the fraction=A,

then the denominator=(A+8),

then
fraction=A/(A+8),

now according to the question, we have

(A+17)/[(A+8)-1] =3/2,

(A+17)/(A+7) =3/2,

2A+34=3A+21,

then

34-21=3A-2A,

13=A,

therefore

fraction =13/(13+8),

=13/21
