Given two sides of a right angled triangle are 3cm and 4 cm .

By using Pythagoras theorem,

Hypotenuse square =side square + side square .

Other side=

\begin{gathered}\sqrt{ {3}^{2} + {4}^{2} } \\ = \sqrt{9 + 16 } \\ = \sqrt{25} \\ = 5\end{gathered} </p><p>

Therefore third side is equal to 5.
