let the fraction be x/y

now, ATQ. 2(x) = y+2
2x -2 = y ➡1⃣

x+3
—— = 2/3
y+3

3(x+3) = 2(y+3)
3x + 9 = 2y + 6
3x -2y = -3 ➡2⃣

From eq. 1 and 2

3x -2(2x-2) = -3
3x -4x +4 = -3
-x +4 = -3
4+3 = x
[x = 7]

so by substituting value of x in eq.1
2(7)-2 = y
14-2= y
[y = 12]

•°• 7/12 is the fraction
