Help me by solving the above linear equation using the 'cross multiplication method' only. ☺️. AND I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK YOU IF, YOU SOLVE THE EQUATION. ​

The answer is x=11

10 - (x-1/2) - (x-2/3) = x-3/4

To be able to cross multiply you have to simplify the left side of the equation first. You can do this by giving everything a common denominator (6 in this case).

60/6 - (6x-3/6) - (6x-4/6) = x-3/4

Then simplify

-5x+67/6 = x-3/4

And now cross multiply

4(-5x+67) = 6(x-3)

-20x+268 = 6x+(-18)

And you can finish the equation to get x=11.
