Answer:

Abanindranath Tagore was an Indian artist who found 'Bengal School of Art'. Nandlal Bose was his disciple.

Nandlal Bose visited Ajanta and Bagh caves and studied the drawings of those murals. After studying those, his paintings reflected the same tradition. Nandlal created a painting 'Sri Chaitanya under Garud Stambha'. He used both wash and tempera techniques in this painting.

Chaitanya was supporting his body with the right hand and is shown in grief. His limbs and gestures show that he is in depression as he is resting against a pillar. Garud which is the carrier of Lord Vishnu is sitting on the top of the pillar. Blessings are being poured on Chaitanya as light is thrown on him.
