Given :

Mass ( m ) = 5 kg

To find :

i ) acceleration.

ii ) Force

iii )Change in momentum in 2 s

Formulas :

Acceleration = velocity/time

Force = mass × acceleration

Momentum = mass × velocity

Solution :

Acceleration = velocity/time

a = 5 - 0 / 2 - 0

a = 5/2

a = 2.5 m s^-2

Force = mass × acceleration

F = 5 × 2.5

F = 12.5 N

Initial momentum = p(i) = 5 × 0 = 2

Final momentum = p(f) = 5 × 5 = 25 kg m/s

Change in momentum = p(f) - p(i)

∆p = 25 - 0

p = 25 kg m/s .
