In any government, the judiciary is the body concerned with upholding law.
The Indian judiciary is single, integrated and unified. The Supreme court is the highest court of India with CHIEF JUSTICE as its head
The chief justice is appointed by the President . The other judgrs are appointed on the recommendation of chief justice by president. So legislature or executive cannot interfere in the working of judiciary.
