question no. 9 -An = a + (n-1 )d
A7 = 7+ 6*3
= 7+18. = 25
therefore, seventh term of AP is 25..
questions no. 10- join BD.
AB||EF||DC (given)
also AB||EO or OF ||DC.
In triangle ABD ,
AB||EO, By BPT,
AE/ED = BO/OD --equation (1)
Similarly, in triangle BCD, OF || DC
therefore, by BPT ,
BO/OD = BF/FC -- equation(2)
From equation (1) &(2),
AE /ED = BF/FC...PROVED
