Factorize:

 4x² - 12xy + 9y² - 25

we know the two identites (By using these we are going to solve this problem),

(a - b)² = a² + 2ab - b²,

a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b),

Going back to the expression,

=> 4x² - 12xy + 9y² - 25

=> (2x)² + 2(2x)(3y) + (3y)² - (5)²

=> (2x)² + 2(2x)(3y) + (3y)² - (5)²

=>(2x - 3y)² - (5)²        (By using (a - b)² identity)

 

=> (2x + 3y + 5)(2x + 3y - 5),. (By using a² - b² identity),.
