2x - y = 2 \\ 2 \times 3 - 4 = 2 \\ 6 - 4 = 2 \\ 2 = 2

x + 3y = 15 \\ 3 + 3 \times 4 = 15 \\ 3 + 12 = 15 \\ 15 = 15

Simply multiply the first equation to 3 to make 3y same and then cancel them by subtracting

Option b is correct
