It was helen's first trip on ocean and first voyage in a steamboat. She was very excited and anxious to reach the land. The journey was full of life and motion! the only thing that terrified her was the noise of the machine. She was more interested in landing on the rock where the piligrims than anything else in Plymouth. She found the piligrims to be heroes and admired their act of finding the land. The kind man gave her a momento of historical work with 1620 engraved on it. Helen traced the shape and curves of the rock with intense admiration.

Helen was amazed when she had her first trip to the ocean.  She fell in love with the beauty of the beautiful ocean she couldnt actually see the beautiful ocean. But with the help of her teacher she could literally understand the beauty of ocean. She was surprised when she fell in the water one thing she asked was who puts the salt into the sea. Helen felt the tides of the sea she could feel the strength of the ocean its size.
