1.Distance is the complete or totals path covered by an object from point A to point B and Displacement is the shortest path from point A to point B.

2. Speed is the rate of change of distance with respect to time and Velocity is the rate of change of displaceme with respect to time.

Speed is scalar quantity whereasS. Velocity is a vector quantity.

3. Speedometer indicates instantaneous speed i.e. Speed of the vehicle at that exact point whereas Odometer indicates the total distance travelled by that vehicle in its lifetime. It can be reset.
