over here we have x=a+bt2

x is given as metres which means it is the distance

and t is given as seconds which is the time

we have an equation s=u+at2

so s=distance and t=time

a=u=initial velocity

the unit for u= meter/second

and b=a=acceleration

unit for acceleration= meter/second2
