Answer:

(T1)^2=K(r1)^3 .....equation 1

similarly

(T2)^2=K(r2)^3...... equation 2

but r2 is equal to r1/2 putting in equation 2 we get

(T2)^2=K(r1/2)^3

now dividing eq.1 by eq.2

(T1 )^2= (r1)^3

(T2)^2=(r1/2)^3

since 2^3=8 therefore

(T1)^2=r1^3

(T2)^2=r1^3/8

this eight goes to the numerator and both (r1)^3 cancel each other now we have

(T1)^2=8

(T2)^2

to find the value of T2 we have

(T2)^2=(T1)^2/8

taking √ on both side we have

T2=T1/2√2

i hope it will help you to understand
