Answer:

You can pick from these ideas :

1) I was enthusiastically posting my Holi pics when I heard my friends calling.

2) I ignored my friends and continued my social media friendships and posts

3) later, I realised that my social media friends were spending time with their friends and I felt ashamed for ignoring my friends

I was getting excited as Holi approached. Though I hadn't bought any colours or pichkaris this year,I had decided that I will celebrate Holi digitally.

For many days,I had been creating beautiful Digital Holi cards with poems and pictures. I signed them using a Digital signature, and saved them on my laptop and mobile phone.

I refused to allow anyone else to use my laptop or phone because I did not want them to see my beautiful messages. I wanted to surprise my family and friends with my unique electronic greetings at midnight on the day before Holi.

I wanted to be the first to do send these greetings on Facebook,Twitter and WhatsApp.

The night before Holi after having supper I sat down with my laptop and phone and began sending the messages but they wouldn't go through!

The server was down and there wasn't network. I tried and tried to send my beautiful messages for hour and I don't know when I fell asleep.

I woke up the next day to noises outside my window. I looked out and saw all my friends having fun. They were hugging each other and throwing colour around. Many of them were eating gujiya and dahi-vada.

Looking at this,I felt sad. My grand plan of sending digital messages to all had failed because of the poor network.

I wanted to be the first one to greet everyone. Instead,I was the last person to welcome Holi.

Just then,Raghav saw me and pulled me out to wish him a Happy Holi. Raghav was joined by Megha and all the others.

They put colours on me and sprayed me with water and offered me sweets. I began to feel better.

I realised that wishing my friends by hugging them, and tossing real colours around made me much happier than the likes and comments I would've got on a digital greeting.

Very soon,I was jumping around, throwing colour in the air and shouting "Happy Holi!"
