Hey User
answer must be 3
As we know, F = q(v×B)
i.e. |F| = qvB sin∅
∅ being angle between v and B
so,
1)when particle move parallel to Magnetic Field i.e. ∅=0° so Force comes to be ZERO
2)when particle move perpendicular to Magnetic Field i.e. ∅=90° so Force comes to be directly qvB
like if You understood!!

Option C is most appropriate.

\vector[Force] = q \vec{v} × \vec{B}

Unless velocity and magnetic field are perpendicular there is a non zero force.
