AREA of shaded region = area of square - area of circle
= a² - πr²
= 144 - 113.04
= 30.96 cm²
here is ur answer hope it helped

As ABCD is a square therefore the angles will be 90° at every corner.
The sectors are placed such a way that the radius is 12/2 that is 6cm.
Now,
As all sectors have 90° ( which add up to 360°) and the radius is equal .So, we conclude it as one circle.
Area of shaded region = ( area of square) - ( area of circle )
= ( Side )² - ( πr²)
= (12)² - (3.14 × 6 ×6)
= 144 - 113.04
= 30.96cm²
Glad to help you!
