Good morning respected principal,beloved teachers and my dear friends. Today I'm here to say a few words about the power of our words.Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.” Yehuda Berg. Considering the 'powerful force' of the wordswe utter, we must discipline ourselves to speak in a way that conveys respect, gentleness and humility.

"Be mindful when it comes to your words. A string of some that don't mean much to you, may stick with someone else for a lifetime."

=> A very warm and a pleasant Good Morning to Respected Principal Ma'am , worthy teachers and my dear fellow friends . Today , I _________(Name) a student of class XI feels privileged to share this dias with such a knowledgeable audience to express my views about the topic words have power.

=> Humans are blessed with the ability to express themselves through words . They are the only ones who've got this power to express themselves and their thoughts .
With each new day , we meet so many new people and we share so many of our experiences with them . All that we communicate with others is in the form of words only .

=> So , I don't think that these words are just a strand of alphabets ! They have their own life within . As what you speak to others [ through your words ] determines and effects them deeply. May be Good or Bad . Sometimes our words can have a positive influence on others while at other times , it can also influence them negatively. It all depends on how we use our words. Let me quite a very beautiful saying here :

"Words and Hearts need to be handled with care . As words once spoken and Hearts once broken are the hardest to repair."

=> Our words once spoken are like the bow once released from an arrow. It can't return back again . Thus, we need to be very careful with what we speak . Our words should never be meant to hurt others. We need to choose our words very carefully. That is why it is very correctly remarked that , Think Before you Speak . Never say anything in Haste.

★Before speaking anything , remember that your words can either make or break your ties. So be cautious ! On this note , I'd wind up my topic. Hope it won't be just treated as a lecture. Try to imply these points in your Life.
