Given 3 log x + 1/2 log y = 2

 We know that a lob b = log b^a.

           log x^3 + log y^1/2 = 2

           log(x^3 * y^1/2) = 2

          x^3 * y^1/2 = 10^2

         y^1/2 = 100/x^3

         y = (100/x^3)^2

         y = 10000/x^6.

We know that a/b^n = ab^-n

         y = 10000 x^-6.

Hope this helps!
