now, a rhombus is also a parallelogram
then, its area = altitude×base
56 = altitude×7
altitude=8

perimeter of rhombus = 4a
28 = 4a
a = 7


area of rhombus = 1/2×base×altitude

56 = 1/2 × 7 × altitude

altitude = 56 × 2 / 7

altitude = 16
