Help me please!
1.CALCULATE THE LENGTH OF THE DIAGONAL OF A ROOM 15M BY 12M.
2. A LADDER 12M LONG LEANS AGAINST A VERTICAL WALL. IF THE FOOT OF THE LADDER IS 7M FROM THE WALL, HOW FAR UP THE WALL DOES THE LADDER REACH?
3. RIYA CYCLED 15KM DUE EAST AND 8KM DUE SOUTH. HOW FAR IS SHE FROM THE STARTING POINT? (Please help me right now. I need the answers urgently).

Answer:

here's your answers , grab them.

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. we will have to to find the digonal on the basis of assuming the room as a rectangle not as a cuboid because you haven't mentioned the height.

digonal = √L^2+ b^2

digonal = √15^2 + 12^2

digonal = 27m

2. the condition shown here makes right angle triangle and we will apply the Pythagoras formula here.

h = 12

B = 7

P = x

12^2 = 7^2 + x^2

144 = 49 + x^2

144 - 49 = x^2

95=x^2

9.8 = x

3. here again the condition is making a right angle triangle so we will again apply the Pythagoras theorem.

P = 8

B = 15

H =x

x^2 =15^2 +8^2

x^2 = 289

x =17
