Given

\begin{cases}Two\:Equations\\97x+53y =177,\\53x97y=573\end{cases}

  • Two Equations
  • 97x+53y =177
  • 53x+97y=573

To find

  • the value of X and Y

solution

  • Here if you see the question like that where the constant of X and y is changing to each other
  • Then first to add the Equation
  • And second to subtract
  • Then make a new Equation

Let do this

97x+53y =177

53x+97y=573

Adding the Equation

150x+150y=750

=>150(X+y) =750

=>X+y = 5________(1)

Subtracting equation

44x-44y = 396

=>44(X-Y) = 396

=>x-Y = 9________(2)

From equation (1) and (2)

X+Y=5

X-Y =9

_____

2x=14

X=7

Putting the value in Equation 1

7+y = 9

y = 2
