you have to solve these by elimination method

I'll solve the second one and then you will solve the rest...

  • let 3x+2y=10 be the equation 1
  • and let 3x-y=22 be the 2nd equation

on subtracting eq 2 from eq 1,

3x+2y=10

(-) 3x-y=22

-----------

0+3y= -12

therefore, |y= (-4) |

Now, on substituting the value of y in eq 1 we get the value of x

  • 3x+ 2 (-4)=10
  • 3x-8=10
  • 3x=10+8
  • x=18÷3
  • | x=6 |

similarly you can find the values of x&y with the elimination method
