Concept : Average speed Total distance travel ÷time taken.
Here ,First 30km is travel with a speed of
15 km/h
So, total time taken is 30/15=2hours
Again total time taken to travel next 30km
with speed 40km/h is 30/40=0.75hours.
Now Average speed=Total distance ÷total time taken.
=30+30/2+0.75
=60/2.75
=21.81km/h
So, average speed is 21.81km/h
