Given :

The big field yield of pumpkin =  3 \frac {2}{12}

Tge small field yield of pumpkin =  2 \frac {1}{12}

To Find :

The total yield of pumpkin

Solution :

To find total yield of pumpkin, we have to add large and small yield of pumpkin.

Steps to do for adding :

  • First, convert these mixed fractions into proper fraction.
  • Then taking its lcm
  • Then add it
  • And last, convert into its simplest form
  • Finally we get our answer

Results :

3 \frac{2}{12}  + 2 \frac{1}{12}

 \frac{38}{12}  +  \frac{25}{12}

 \frac{38 + 25}{12}

 =  \frac{63}{12}

 =  \frac{21}{4}
