Explanation:

1) mitosis and meiosis are two main types of cell division which occurs in some organisms. The process of cell division by which most of the cells divide for growth is called mitosis. In this process, the mother cell divides to form two identical daughter cells which has the same number of chromosomes as the mother cell.mitosis helps in the growth and repair of tissues in organisms.

On the other hand, specific organs of reproductive organs or tissues in animals and plants divide to form gametes by a process called meiosis which involves two consecutive divisions. In meiosis a cell divides and produces four new cells which has half the number of chromosomes than that of the mother.

2)Meiosis takes place in specific cells of reproductive organs or tissues in animals and plants. This division results to form gamete cells, which after fertilisation, gives rise to offspring.

3)DNA replication happens in the cytoplasm of prokaryotes and nucleus of eukaryotes.

4) _

5)Cytokinesis is the final process in eukaryotic cell division, which divides the cytoplasm, organelles and cellular membrane. It typically occurs at the end of mitosis.

6)prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase.

7) a thread like structure of nucleic acids and proteins, found in the nucleus of most of the living cells, carrying genetic information in the form of genes.

8)functional segments of DNA are called genes.

9)prophase is the first stage of mitosis in animal cells, and the second stage of mitosis in plant cells.the main events of prophase are: the condensation of chromosomes, the movement of centrosomes, the formation of mitotic spindle, and the beginning of nucleoli breakdown.
