both aarushi and anushka have x rs

first anushka gave x /3 to aajahi

anushka left with x - x/3 = 2x/3

aarushi have x + x/3 = 4x/3

then
aarushi gave half of it

she left with , 2x/3 now

and this is 1600

therefore , 2x /3 =1600

x = 1600 ×3 /2

x = 2400 = initial amount

so anushka gave 2400 / 3 =800 to aarushi

let flowers offered in temple are x

remaining flowers = 60 - x

therefore , 60 / 60 - x = 5 / 3
60 × 3 = 5 ( 60 - x )

180 = 300 - 5x

5x = 300 - 180

5x = 120

x = 24

so flowers offered in temple = 24
