if

power = 100 watt

voltage = 220 volt

we know that

P= VI

I = P/V

I = 100/220 = 0.45 Amp

if

power = 200 watt

voltage = 220

I = 200/220 = 0.90 Amp

P=V^2/R

Therefore, R =V^2/P

1st case:-

R1= 220*220/100

=22*22

=484ohm

2nd case:-

R2= 220*220/200

=22*11

=242ohm

Now, these in series in (i)

R= R1+R2

=484+242

= 726ohm

V=IR

I=V/R

=220/726

=0.30A

Now, these in parallel in (ii)

1/R= 1/R1+1/R2

=1/484+1/242

= 3/484ohm

R=484/3ohm

V=IR

I=V/R

=220/(484/3)

=220*3/484

=660/484

=1.36A
