on 15 august every year we celebrate indepence day .every year on this day the prime minister raises the flag hoisting.the entire event is broadcast by doordarshan. so many people are gathered in this programme . they give respect to their nation.we sing national anthem on this day .all people who are also watching this event feel proud for their nation.independence day is observed throught india with flag hoisting ceremonies,parades and cultural event.it is a national holiday for all the citizens.
